Catching On

Alright, I know this may not make sense, but remember when you watched movies as a kid and your parents were laughing... but you didn't get it? Then a few years down the road, you catch yourself laughing a jokes you didn't get before...

Okay well I can't think of an example right off hand, but I was just thinking about it this morning. There are jokes and sayings that go on around us, and we dont' get a lot of them. But with time, more education, and more living experiences we get things we didn't earlier. That seems redundant even as I write this, but I just had to wonder- how much am I still missing? How many of the jokes on Toy Story will I not understand for three or four more years? How many more lessons are there to learn before I have an absolute knowledge?













Mr. Potato Head: Hey, Hamm. Look, I'm Picasso.

Hamm: Gee, I don't get it.

Mr. Potato Head: You uncultured swine!
