Bikes are not allowed during class breaks, but that is when we need them.
I am okay with that sheerly because I have almost been ran over several times.
Scooters wouldn't work and I don't think they are allowed either.
I am not going to wear those childish shoes with wheels.
There has to be a way to figure out how to teleport us.
First let me tell you what has inspired this little tangent.
Today I had to walk to the Brimhall to pick up some paperwork regarding picking another class up. No big deal, then they told me to take it to the ASB.
I waited till lunch time and sure enough, I walked it over. I did have to stop on my way at the McKay for color printing and then the SWKT for lunch. But I did make it to the ASB. When I got there, they told me that I had to have additional approval that I had to get from my councilor... who I met with this morning!
So I was faced with a choice.
Do I try to run to the Brimhall and get the advisor to sign it....
No.
Or shall I try to call the department which is only two buildings away and ask them to sign it...
Yes!
So that is what I did. They told me that my advisor was over at their building for lunch any way. But what if I had not been so tired and had decided to walk back to the Brimhall only to be told to go back to the HFAC?
So back to my ideals about transportation.
Can't BYU figure out how to get us moved from various locations within a matter of seconds when it is their fault that I am having to run back and forth anyway?
Needless to say, I probably was not my warmest to the messengers. I just don't understand why they can't use the phone, email, or fax machine. Why not save me a few minutes and help me out by picking up the phone?
Well that is all... but really! Lets get to work on a science fair project. I will accept any of the following:
Transportation, jet packs, or moving sidewalks that are weather proof.
Thanks.
