Drag Time

What happens between those moments that don't budge and those that you are trying to get to slow down?  Where is the difference between them.  Is it more than just having something to do, being occupied, or is it longing for the times when everything is better?  Because one day you wake up and instantly wish the day was over and it takes an eternity.  Then there are moments where despite the coldness of the beach you wish you could keep going, keep walking and talking, but time ends it too soon.  I don't understand what the difference is or where it comes from.  Is it fair to take the good times twice as fast?  But, perhaps it is all perspective, maybe they are all good times, moving at the same speed... Either way, I wish there were more sunny beaches.
