I am working on homework for the rest of the day. It will be long, but I know if I work quickly, I may get the chance to steal away for another hour to enjoy laughter again.

The pool is a wonderful place. The water was freezing today. I thought I may not be able to get out once my muscles were frozen-- but it was okay. The sun felt great. I was glad that I took the break from the mundane to enjoy the life outside my four walls. There were no clouds in the sky- only the sounds of laughter and chatting from my friends on either sides. It was nice to be there. I am so grateful for the times that we take away to enjoy the life we are living. Sometimes, we let things weigh down on us until there is no room to move or enjoy our lives. I guess the best way to say that is to acknowledge the importance of all the little things-- be revel in the small chances to escape.
